How it works

How Our Petition Preparation Process Works:

Step 1:

First obtained a free set of Client Intake Forms.  Print the forms and have the client fill them out. Review them with your client for completeness. Collect and review the Client intake forms, client documents and Credit Counseling Requirement. Fax or email Client Intake Forms, credit counseling certificate and six months paycheck stubs to info@avsbankruptcy.com

Step 2:

We draft the complete bankruptcy petition (normally within 42 to 72 hours) including all schedules, Means Test and local forms. We compile a list of additional questions and/or summary analysis to alert you to any potential problems (if applicable). Fax or email us with instructions on how to proceed and the petition is finalized.

We will perform real estate value search if appraisal is not available. Obtain market value for automobiles and other vehicles by going into Kelly Blue Book. Perform online searches for property liens, civil and criminal records. We will also perform nationwide bankruptcy search through PACER

Step 3:

When the petition is complete, your law firm information and Attorney Compensation Statement will be drafted and personalized with your bar number. Then the entire petition is converted to PDF format and emailed to you for printing. The PDF file is also suitable for electronic filing, which we will also do for you if electronic filing is available at your local bankruptcy court using CM/ECF system.

Step 4:

After your review, if any page or pages within the petition needs to be changed, just let us know. We will immediately revise the affected pages and send them to you in PDF format at no additional charge within few hours including due diligence documentation, and client intake forms.

Simply have your clients complete the Client Intake Forms. When the client has filled them out, fax them to us and we will immediately begin preparing your client’s Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy petition.
